Sterling Generators invests Rs 60 cr by 2020 for capacity expansion

Diesel generator manufacturing major Sterling Generators plans to invest around Rs 60 crore by 2020 to expand its manufacturing facility and reach an annual production capacity of 5,000 gensets.
The company’s 8-acre facility in Silvassa, one of the largest in Asia, was established in 2006. During the last 10 years, Sterling Generators has invested over Rs 100 crore in the facility. The factory has a state-of-the-art PLC based testing facility in for DG sets up to 3,000 kVA.
