Amplus Energy Solutions has signed an MoU with Uttar Pradesh government for eyeing an investment of Rs 2,200 crore over the next 5 years to set up solar power with a capacity of 500 MW in the state.
The MoU was signed in ‘UP Investors’ Summit’ with a push from the state government under the new solar energy policy 2017 for attaining solar energy capacity of 10,700 MW in the next five years.
With the push from the Yogi Adityanath’s govt, the new UP solar energy policy 2017 allows investors the facility of ‘open access’ and thus sell power to individuals or institutional consumers within or outside the state.
