KUSAM-MECO’s digital anemometer and industrial infrared thermometer

“KUSAM-MECO” Digital Hotwire Anemometer Model KM 735

KUSAM-MECO has recently added a new, highly reliable Hotwire Anemometer to its existing range of Hotwire Anemometers. This anemometer uses a highly advanced microprocessor for air velocity, airflow, temperature, and humidity measurements. It displays an air velocity of 025m/s and can be converted to kilometres per hour, feet per minute, miles per hour, and knots. The air velocity measurements have compensation for atmospheric pressure.

The airflow is measured in CMM, with a CFM range 0~999900 m3/ min (ft3/min). The temperature range is -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). 

The humidity measurement range is 0-100 per cent RH. The sensor is a Telescopic Hotwire probe with a cable length of 1890mm. The response is very fast (2 times/sec). The display of the parameters is on a large LCD with a backlight. It also shows the MAX/MIN/Avg. function. It has a USB interface and a data hold function. The instrument has a tilt stand and is supplied with a battery, manual and carrying case.

“KUSAM-MECO” has introduced for the first time in India a Dualpurpose Industrial Infrared Thermometer for Industrial Temperature Measurements and Human Body Temperature measuring function. An infrared thermometer can be used in places where it is difficult for a normal temperature probe to reach or places where it is dangerous such as heat treatment furnaces, high voltage operating plants, kiln temperatures, bearing temperatures, energy conservation, research and development, air conditioning, petrochemicals, and noncontact human body temperature measurement. 

The measuring distance for human body temperature measurement is 15 cm. The Temperature display is in °C or °F. The instrument gives a sound indication when it is ready to show the temperature. The distance-to-spot ratio is 12:1. The temperature range is 0–180°C with a fixed emissivity of 0.95. For human body temperature measurement on the forehead, the temperature range is 32°C to 42°C. It has a built-in laser pointer. It is supplied with a user manual, a 9-volt battery, and a gift box.
