Polycab India has consistently stood apart and retained its market leadership in the cables and wires domain based on breakthroughs and cutting-edge innovations that we introduce to the market. We have equipped all our business units with advanced machinery and testing equipment that conforms to the highest national and international standards. Polycab’s advanced wire and cable technology, computerised product design, and stringent quality control enable industries to develop highly engineered products with excellent features beyond the standards.
What have you been doing to foster innovation and R&D at your workplace?
At Polycab India, we proactively identify opportunities to evolve and push higher innovation benchmarks for our offerings to customers. Due importance is accorded to R&D pursuits with an outlined focus on curating a long-lasting value proposition differentiation that will appeal to our distributors, retailers, institutional clients, and end consumers. Our in-house R&D centre, located in Halol, Gujarat, is certified by the Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR, Government of India), and is continuously working on new product development in the
wires and cables space. A large team of R&D and technical professionals supports the manufacturing function through their expertise in the research process, design, performance, and project management. It caters to evolving market requirements such as fire-retardant, fire survival, low smoke, and multi-chemically resistant compounds. We also collaborate with various external technology consultants to develop many firstto-market technologies.
