Rooftop solar business to leap in growth in the coming years
.

Icon Solar-En Power Technologies offers complete solar power solutions such as cover-designing, supplying, installation, testing, and commissioning solar PV projects.

What innovations were promoted at REI Expo?
There are different types of products. We have divided our products into four categories. There are smaller products which are used for the streetlights segment, which is more than 150 watts for a home light system, 335 watts for a smaller power plant rooftop segment, and bigger projects; we have launched 551. This is a new 551-watt Moodle core technology, which we displayed at REI Expo. It can be seen that this technology is coming to the industry shortly.

What are the unique features of your innovations?
Two different types of applications are frequently used in panels where these items are released. One is the content segment, which has been used in all tickets for certain users ABC in the case of BM, for some time now. The second is the rooftop and ground-mounted design. Consequently, these panels will be employed in both applications.

What is your plan for expansion?
We are currently at 200 megawatts. By November or December, we’ll be somewhere in the garden. Next year we will be rolling in the door. We are going to be there six times a year. This is the type of expansion we are planning. We have increased our presence in many states. Earlier, we were operating in 12 states, and now we have used 29 states, and there are dealers and C&F agents with whom we are aligning so that we can have a proper reason. For example, we have added newer states, are Kerala and Tamil Nadu. On the north side, we are going to Jammu and Kashmir in the northeast.

How do you look at the shift from conventional energy to renewable energy sources?
The level of government-imposed taxes is exceptionally high. Due to the majority of people keeping stock, there was a slowdown. Therefore, over the past six months, all of the discussions that were bolded as being banned before the duty have disappeared. As a result, the old Mark model is no longer in the market. Instead, the various markets have begun to flash, and many businesses have already placed their orders. Orders are flowing in the market, and we anticipate this will continue.

How do you currently meet the demand for this?
There is a significant amount of government-imposed duty or taxation. First, there was a slowdown because most people had kept stock. So, in the last six months, all of the talks they had boldly prohibited prior to the duty vanished. So, no old Mark model is available between different 40 percent duty on modules. The market has started flashing. There are a lot of companies whose orders are booked. We are also booked mostly till November and December. So, it is something that the orders are flowing in the market, and we hope that this will continue Since business is also on. People are shipping renewable energy, and smart intelligence is also in new algorithms.

How are government schemes and policies benefiting this industry in terms of cost?
The government provided a lot of incentives in the past since, at the time, the energy did make people feel better. If you had a solar model, you could get one for as little as 70 rupees, depending on how slowly the cost of renewable energy and modules is falling. Coal power, a typical energy source, has a startup cost of five rupees, and the PPA is currentlycompleted at two and a half rupees. People can, therefore, immediately observe that there is a superior ROI. The government has a programme aimed mostly at rooftops, and the PM has just unveiled it. Because they will receive a payment within three years, many have begun to put money on their roof.

What kinds of challenges and opportunities do you see in this sector?
The difficulties are mostly related to raw materials. In line with the rising demand, capacity is rising, so our suppliers must do the same. For example, borosil is expanding to more glass makers. Similarly, junction box aluminium supplier BVA and government EMS launched the entire draught. Still, on September 21, they announced that they would also provide more PLA for the raw material side. There are, therefore, regions where people will pay more attention to raw materials. We anticipate that it will assist us in meeting this demand, make obtaining raw materials simpler, and increase our chances of success in the export market. As a result, we intend to continue working with exporters and have already received some orders. We are offering assistance to our system integrators. We are supplying a few businesses with the entire system in various parts of the world, but now we will also accept direct orders.
