Jakson group expands solar manufacturing capacity with Jinchen Corp

Jakson Group and Jinchen sign an agreement to build a sustainable future and achieve carbon neutrality.
An agreement between Jinchen Corp., a turnkey supplier of cutting-edge machinery and technology for the production of advanced solar modules in China, and the Jakson Group, a major Indian energy conglomerate, has been developed. The partnership advances Jakson Group’s goals of increasing solar PV manufacturing capacity in India to 3 GW annually and will improve its strategies for serving global markets.
This 3 GW total manufacturing capacity will be attained over the coming years in stages, with the installation of a further 600 MW projected to be completed in cooperation with Jinchen Corp. by the middle of 2023. The arrangement with Jinchen Corp. will increase the 500 MW plant already in place in Greater Noida for Jakson Group, bringing the total module manufacturing capacity to 1.1 GW. The most recent P-type, N-type, and G-12 modules in both mono-facial and bi-facial versions will be manufactured on this new, completely automated line.
