Hartek Power commissions 400kV reactor at PSTCL substation

Hartek Power Private Limited, the Power system business unit of the Hartek Group, one of India’s top 10 engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms, has successfully finished the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 400kV/125 MVAr reactor at the 400/220 kV substation in Dhuri, Punjab on March 30, 2023, well ahead of schedule.

One of the company’s major accomplishments was the commissioning of a 125 MVAr/400kV Bus reactor at the 400kV Substation Dhuri, as well as the building of an allied bay and all associated civil work. The project’s scope of work includes a turnkey solution for the delivery and commissioning of a 125 MVAr/400kV Bus reactor at the 400kV Substation Dhuri, as well as the building of an allied bay with allied civil work.

By successfully commissioning three reactors consecutively, the company has shown great expertise in the power sector. The 220 kV / 25 MVAr Dhuri plant was the first reactor to be put into service, and it was followed by the commissioning of the second reactor at the 220 kV / 25 MVAr Nakodar plant and then the 400 kV / 125 MVAr reactor at the PSTCL Dhuri facility.
