KUSAM-MECO expands its TRMS and digital infrared thermometer product range

KUSAM MECO’s Digital Multimeter – MODEL – KM 2807CSE features several special functions that enhance its usability and versatility. These include VFD-AC Voltage measurement, VFD-Hz measurement, Hi/Lo EF Detection for Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) and Single Pole detection, Display Hold, W/Hold-Alert Warning, MAX Hold, Beep List Diode Test, W/Beep Pass Indication, Beep List Continuity, Relative Zero Mode, Back-lit LCD for easy visibility, and Beep Jack Audible and visible input warnings. It offers various measurement capabilities, such as AC Voltage measurement from 0.01 mV to 1000 mV, VFD-ACV measurement (with Low Pass filter) from 10 Hz to 400 Hz, and DC Voltage measurement from 0.01 mV to 1000 mV.

The instrument is also capable of measuring resistance in the range of 0.1 Ohm to 60.00 Megaohm, capacitance from 0.01 nF to 2000 F, performing Diode Tests, measuring DC Current from 0.1A to 10.00A, measuring AC Current from 0.1A to 10.00A, measuring Logic Frequency in the range of 5.00 Hz to 300.0 KHz, measuring Temperature from -40 to 400°C, measuring Line Frequency in the range of 10 Hz to 50 KHz, and Non-Contact EF (Electric Field) measurement in the range of 15V to 1000V.

Two 1.5-volt AAA batteries power the instrument and feature an auto-power-off function to preserve battery life. With a weight of 430 g, it is lightweight and easy to handle. It has essential accessories, including an operational manual, batteries, test leads, a thermocouple, and a carrying case for convenient storage and transportation.

‘KUSAM-MECO’ has added one more model to their infrared thermometer range. Model IRL-550. It is a mid-range-priced Infrared thermometer with a temperature range of -50°C to 550°C. It has a laser pointer for accurate target sighting. It has a backlight for reading in the dark. The unit can be selected as either °C or °F. 

The Wavelength is 8 m to 14 m. It also has a data hold function. A single 9-volt Battery powers it. To save battery consumption, it has an auto power-off function. The distance-to-spot ratio is 12:1. 

The Emissivity is Adjustable from 0.1 to 1.0. The Instrument has an Accuracy of 2 °C. The Instrument is supplied with a manual, battery, and carrying case.

KUSAM-MECO has added a new product to its range of safety products. It is a Rescue Hook. It is suitable to save people from high voltage. The rescue hook is an invaluable tool to assist in the rescue of an injured worker from a hazardous area (near electrical gear, vaults, confined spaces, etc.). If a person receives a shock, the body should be pushed away with a dry stick or a rope. The rescue hook is a vinyl-dipped steel hook with a 15″ opening mounted on an insulated fibreglass Pole. With superior electrical insulation, this hook is optimal for rescuing injured personnel from Arc Flash incidents and other hazardous situations. It is available for 11KV, 33KV, 66KV, and 132KV circuits. The rod’s length is 3’ to 4’ 11″. The hook length is 31″.
