Tata Power has powered more than 150 EV charging stations in Rajasthan.

Tata Power, one of India’s leading providers of EV charging solutions, is spearheading the development of a robust and extensive electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in Rajasthan, promoting sustainable mobility and addressing range anxiety. With over 150 EV charging stations already activated across the state, Tata Power is actively facilitating intercity and intrastate EV travel.

Tata Power has strategically placed fast chargers along major highways in Rajasthan, connecting cities such as Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ganganagar, Pachpadra, Nagaur, Rashidpura, and Nathdwara. By establishing charging points at key locations, including highway restaurants and other strategic spots, Tata Power is ensuring that EV owners have easy and reliable access to charging facilities, thereby encouraging the adoption of electric transportation in Rajasthan.

By providing fast charging infrastructure along crucial routes like Jaipur to Delhi, Jodhpur to Barmar, Bikaner to Barmar, Jaipur to Bikaner, and Jaipur to Udaipur, Tata Power is addressing a common concern among EV owners – range anxiety. With these charging stations in place, EV drivers can now undertake long-distance interstate travel with confidence, promoting the growth of electric mobility in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan, known for its vibrant tourist destinations, is set to promote eco-friendly travel and tourism through the installation of an extensive EV charging infrastructure. By offering convenient charging solutions, Tata Power is facilitating sustainable transportation options for both locals and visitors, aligning with the state’s commitment to environmental conservation.

Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development for EV Charging at Tata Power, emphasized the company’s dedication to establishing an extensive EV charging network. These charging facilities serve as a testament to Tata Power’s unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable transportation and reducing dependence on conventional fuels. The company aims to instill confidence in electric mobility among residents and travelers alike, positioning itself as a leader in creating a comprehensive EV charging network.

Tata Power has ambitious plans to expand its EV charging network significantly over the next five years. The company aims to increase the number of EV charging stations to over 25,000, catering to the growing demand for electric vehicles across the nation. With a market share of approximately 60percent, Tata Power is currently the largest EV charging point operator in India, with its presence in 550 cities and continuous growth.
