Greenko Partners with Serentica Renewables for energy storage projects in India

Under this agreement, Serentica will leverage Greenko’s exceptional storage capabilities by utilising a 1,500 MWhr capacity of storage projects in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
Serentica Renewables, a prominent renewable energy developer in India, has recently announced a groundbreaking agreement. The company has signed a one-of-a-kind standalone contract with Greenko Group, a global energy storage developer, for the procurement of energy storage capacity. Under this agreement, Serentica will leverage Greenko’s exceptional energy storage capabilities and utilise a total of 1,500 MWhr capacity from upcoming energy storage projects in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
This significant deal will enhance Serentica’s efforts to provide uninterrupted, firm, and dispatchable renewable energy to its industrial customers. With an annual assurance of over 95percentage and a 15-minute time-block assurance of over 85percentage, the company will be uniquely positioned as one of the few renewable generator independent power producers (IPPs) in India capable of offering a truly reliable round-the-clock solution.
