Renewable electricity grew faster in India than in any other major economy, with new capacity additions on track to double by 2026. Alternative energy, also known as renewable energy, was derived from naturally replenished sources that did not deplete our planet’s resources. Unlike traditional fossil fuels, alternative energy sources offered numerous advantages, such as reduced greenhouse gas emissions, improved air quality, and long-term energy security. Furthermore, the development and adoption of alternative energy technologies had the potential to transform our energy landscape, creating a more sustainable and resilient future. On that note, EPR Magazine organized a Live Power Talk on “Exploring the Future of Alternative Energy” on the 21st of August. The 90-minute discussion explored some of the most promising alternative energy sources, innovative and breakthrough technologies, and the evolution of green hydrogen and energy storage. The session also looked at the regulatory policies that brought advantages and disadvantages to them. The session was scheduled for 21st August, from 04:00 PM to 05:30 PM.
