MNRE introduces guidelines for Green Hydrogen Hubs

Initiative aims to foster regional development, optimise production, and promote sustainability in hydrogen infrastructure.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has introduced guidelines for the establishment of green hydrogen hubs, marking a significant step in the implementation of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

Under these guidelines, both the MNRE and the designated scheme implementing agencies will take responsibility for these hydrogen hubs. The initiative aims to provide support for the creation of essential infrastructure within these hubs, encompassing storage and transportation facilities, pipeline development, refueling stations, as well as technologies for hydrogen compression and liquefaction, among other necessities.
