What are the main products manufactured by Group Nirmal, and how has its product range expanded?

Group Nirmal is an established quality manufacturer of world-class steel wires with an annual capacity of 2,16,000 mt and ₹ 2,000 crore turnover, operating in seven state-of the-art manufacturing facilities. With years of experience, our main product is galvanised iron (GI) wire, and we produce a large portfolio of related wire products like spring steel wire, aluminium conductors, pre-stressed concrete wire, electrodes, and many more. We have an expansive product range of over 2,000 SKUs of different products, including welding electrodes and hot-rolled steel products. Some of our wires and their vast applications include wires for producing umbrella ribs, various types of springs, wires for earthing, staying, armouring of cables, and concrete re-enforcement.

One of our premium products is Niznal®, a zinc aluminium alloy coated wire that redefines strength, durability, and reliability. Niznal® is a high-performance wire, which gives it superior corrosion resistance and durability compared to a traditional galvanised wire. It provides up to 6x longer life (as compared to a standard GI wire) and, therefore, lowers product lifecycle costs. Our newest product addition has been a range of zinc wires, zinc aluminium wires, zinc rods, and zinc metallising arc spray flame, which shows our expertise in corrosion-resistant wires and has added significant capacity to our total production. We have also scaled up our aluminium conductor division with a capacity increase and are now manufacturing aluminium rods. All these new products have been studied thoroughly by our R&D team and are being manufactured using the latest technology and quality checks.

At Group Nirmal, our infrastructure and manufacturing setup epitomise excellence and efficiency in the steel wire sector. With seven cutting-edge manufacturing facilities strategically located across India, we boast a combined production capacity of 216,000 mt per annum (TPA). Our facilities are equipped with state-of the-art machinery and technologies, surpassing industry standards in productivity and quality. Each facility is meticulously designed to optimise production processes, ensuring seamless operations and superior output.

Central to our manufacturing ethos is our unwavering commitment to quality assurance. We have established a robust quality control department staffed by seasoned professionals who oversee every stage of the production process to maintain uncompromising quality standards. Our largest factory unit houses an extensive NABL-certified laboratory (certification in process) equipped with cutting-edge instrumentation and testing capabilities, ensuring the precision and reliability of our products.
Furthermore, we have invested significantly in our packaging systems to ensure safe and secure transportation of our products to clients worldwide. Rigorous safety measures and inspection facilities are integrated into our factory infrastructure to uphold the highest occupational health and safety standards.
