Schneider Electric unveils eight new energy saving products at Multi-City Innovation Day 2024

This marks the beginning of a series of events that will be held across major cities, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata, over the next few weeks. The events aim to directly engage with over 2,000 end-customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and digital transformation, has launched eight innovative products and solutions during its Multi-City Innovation Day 2024 event in Mumbai. This marks the beginning of a series of events that will be held across major cities, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata, over the next few weeks. The events aim to directly engage with over 2,000 end-customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Reflecting on Schneider Electric’s 60-year journey in India, Speaking at the event, Deepak Sharma, Zone President – Greater India and MD & CEO of Schneider Electric India reaffirmed the company’s customer-focused approach, despite its complex corporate structure. “From a customer perspective, we keep it simple. It is one big technology house,” he stated.
Deepak, emphasised the company’s pivotal role in driving India’s energy efficiency and decarbonisation efforts. “Our goal is to equip our customers and partners with state-of-the-art solutions & technologies covering energy management and NextGen automation, thereby helping in creating a brighter, more sustainable future for India and the world,” Sharma said.
Further he introduced the products. The newly launched products showcase Schneider Electric’s commitment to enhancing energy management and next-generation automation. Among the highlights is the MasterPacT MTZ Active, a revolutionary circuit breaker featuring the industry’s first native Energy Reduction Maintenance Setting (ERMS), offering superior safety against internal arc incidents during maintenance.
The BlokSeT Lean LV Switchboard is another standout, designed with a compact build that reduces copper usage by 30% and lowers the carbon footprint by an equivalent percentage. The IoT-ready switchboard enables wireless connectivity and 24×7 real-time panel health monitoring, ensuring enhanced safety and uptime.For smart homes, the Wiser 2.0 Smart Home Energy Management Solution promises to deliver up to 20% energy savings and can convert any existing apartment into a smart home in under four hours. Meanwhile, the Miluz Lara range introduces the industry’s first modular switches and sockets with built-in air quality indicators.
The Galaxy VXL UPS offers a modular, three-phase uninterruptible power supply with up to 97% efficiency in double conversion mode and 99% in conversion, significantly reducing the total cost of ownership.
In support of India’s renewable energy goals, Schneider Electric has introduced the EvoPact HVX-O- MV Breaker, a Made-in-India solution aimed at the renewable market. The RM Airset combines pure air technology to decarbonize grids, enhancing the performance, reliability, and efficiency of distribution networks.
Lastly, the EcoCare Services Membership Plan helps customers reduce electrical failure risks by up to 75% and unplanned downtime, extending asset lifespan and reducing carbon emissions.
