Kundan Green Energy announces commissioning of hydropower plant at Luni

The hydropower plant at Luni in Himachal Pradesh will bring operating hydropower capacities of Kundan Green Energy to 85 MWs and growing.
Kundan Green Energy has announced the commissioning of its hydropower plant at Luni in Himachal Pradesh. Created at a cost of approximately Rs. 75 crore, the project was awarded in September of 2022 and once again demonstrates Kundan Green Energy’s consistent record of executing hydropower projects on record best-in-class standards, committed time-frames and optimal results. The Luni hydropower plant will bring operating hydropower capacities of Kundan Green Energy to 85 MWs and growing. Adding the existing solar and wind based installed generation projects, the total commissioned and functioning projects of Kundan Green Energy as on date stand at a capacity of 120.5 MWs. Kundan Green Energy and its subsidiaries have four operational hydro power plants in Sikkim and three more are under construction, with larger capacities.
