This prestigious recognition was awarded during a landmark event in Dubai at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Business Bay, as part of the 24th Edition of the Asian Business and Social Forum: Greatest Brands and Leaders 2024. The award was honoured by the renowned Indian politician Anurag Thakur, a Member of the Lok Sabha.

Gruner Renewable Energy’s achievement highlights its significant role in shaping India’s renewable energy landscape, making strides toward reducing carbon footprints and fostering a more sustainable environment for future generations. The company remains committed to expanding its portfolio of green energy solutions and driving impactful change in the industry.

The company has recently secured contracts for 11 compressed biogas plants, each valued at an average of ₹100 crores. With these plants, the company will produce an average of 88,000 tons of compressed biogas (CBG) annually.

This vision will also bolster employment opportunities within the biofuel industry. The company plans to expand its workforce from the current 1,200 employees to over 5,000, including on-site workers, through these projects by the end of the financial year 2024-2025.
