Hitachi Hi-Rel brings advanced power electronics for plastics & packaging industry 

Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Private Limited successfully participated in the PLEXPO INDIA 2024 Expo at Stall No.: C24 in Hall-09 held at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Sector 17, Gandhinagar, Gujarat recently. The stall was inaugurated by Darshan N Shah (President – Sales & Marketing and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer). 

At PLEXPO INDIA 2024 held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat Hitachi Hi-Rel showcased its latest innovations in industrial UPS systems and low voltage variable frequency drives technology, under the theme “Powering the Future of Plastics and Packaging Industry.” The company’s state-of-the-art product portfolio, Industrial UPS known for its exceptional safeguard against power disruption and Low Voltage Drives known for most energy efficient means of process control, was a major attraction at the event.

Key product highlights at the event included the i6e Industrial UPS System with a 160 kVA capacity, the i4 Series Industrial UPS Prototype, the i6et Industrial UPS Prototype, and the SJIN1 Series LV Drive with a 90 kW rating. These cutting-edge solutions were designed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of operations in the plastics and packaging industry, offering robust power protection and precise motor control.

In the plastic industry, maintaining continuous and precise operations is crucial. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems play a vital role by providing reliable backup power, ensuring that production processes are not disrupted by power outages. This helps in maintaining the quality and consistency of plastic products. Low Voltage Drives (LVDs) are equally important as they offer precise control over motor speeds and torque. This precision enhances the efficiency of plastic manufacturing processes, reduces energy consumption, and minimises wear and tear on equipment. Together, UPS systems and LVDs contribute to a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable plastic production environment.

Over the four days of the event, Hitachi Hi-Rel engaged with numerous existing and potential customers, generating numerous leads for various power electronics products. The participation at PLEXPO INDIA 2024 was a great experience, marked by a fantastic response.
