DVC in collaboration with Ernst & Young LLP as knowledge partner held an AI workshop, bringing together experts, professionals, and industry leaders to explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the power sector.
Damodar Valley Corporation, one of the largest CPSU in India, held an AI workshop – “Aarohan: AI Foundation Course” recently, aligned to its commitment to technological innovation. DVC in collaboration with Ernst & Young LLP as knowledge partner, brought together experts, professionals, and industry leaders to explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the power sector.
S. Suresh Kumar, IAS, Chairman, DVC, inaugurated the event with an inspiring address, underscoring the importance of embracing AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency, optimise resources, and build a smarter, more sustainable power infrastructure. He emphasised DVC’s vision to stay at the forefront of technological advancements, ensuring that AI plays a central role in improving grid reliability, energy optimisation, and cybersecurity while meeting the growing energy demands of the nation.
Suresh Kumar highlighted key AI-driven opportunities such as predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and intelligent grid management, all of which are poised to revolutionise the power sector. His message reaffirmed DVC’s dedication to adopting innovative solutions to power a brighter, more efficient future.
