Bosch plans big on smart city projects

India has the potential to achieve the 100 GW of solar power generation targert by 2022 and Bosch is committed to be a part of this success story.

Bosch India, a subsidiary of European technology and service provider Bosch, is all set to tap the opportunities to be generated by the government’s smart cities initiative. India plans to have 100 such cities by 2022. Sixty have been chosen, including 20 in January and 13 in May.
The German auto components manufacturing major unveiled a range of connected and smart solutions for smart cities space at a preview of its new products and services held in Bengaluru recently.
Drawing knowledge from its core expertise in Mobility Solutions, Bosch India is running pilot projects in the smart city in Bengaluru, providing intelligent parking system to enable commuters find parking space for their cars in crowded areas through sensors.
