How do you view the rise of IoT and Industry 4.0 transforming the sector?
We need to look at the choice of people outside, who are getting mad over IoT. We can see that the Internet has changed the world and made so many things very easy in the past 10 years. And now, artificial intelligence, combining with Alexa and Google Assistant is definitely going to change the tech world. We can imagine a world where everything is on human tips.
The current business of 200 million IoT devices per year is going to increase by the mind blowing number of approx. 2.7 billion by 2020. The worldwide IoT market can reach an unbelievable number of $15 billion by 2020. I see this development as the betterment of IoT technology and going to give whooping business and millions of jobs to the Indian market. It is because so many reputed brands like Amazon, Samsung, and Ericson has jumped to the pool of IoT market right now.

What kind of opportunities in smart electricity for India?
India is one of the most populated countries in the world. Conclusively, the increased consumption of electricity is obvious. What we need is to start using smart electrical devices and IoT things to cut down on the use of electricity consumption.

See, we have entered a world where smart devices like Alexa and Google Assistant are simplifying our lives. With our assistance or instructions, these devices can switch on or off electrical devices easily at our home, which leads to saving electricity. And, now the government is also focusing to change 100s of existing cities into the smart one with advanced street lighting and solar energy panels.

So, I see a lot of opportunities in smart electricity for India because all of its cities need LED street lighting, smart meters, and power-efficient electrical appliances soon.
