Talking about the need of shifting from the conventional solutions for electrical measuring instruments, Narendra Goliya, Chairman, Rishabh Instruments Pvt. Ltd., highlights about their latest innovations in the range of electrical measurement devices.
Expectation and focus in 14th edition of ELECRAMA
ELECRAMA has always been a major platform for Rishabh Instruments to showcase the innovations developed by the team. The theme of this ELECRAMA is “Think Innovation, Think Rishabh” – “Think Panel, Think Rishabh” and hence we are focusing more on the innovative devices. This time, we are introducing various new products and solutions from the domains of Analog Expertise, Digital Expertise and Test and Measurement Instruments Expertise.
The major attractions you can explore, are the solutions provided by Rishabh Instruments in different applications such as climate control, used to control atmospheric conditions. You will be able to experience the unique solution provided by our temperature controllers and humidity sensors. On the other side, you will find our next generation enhanced range of Multi-Function meters with complete programmability, Ethernet communication, data logging and many more other features, which will make the measurement job easy for the customers. The touch screen power quality analysers designed and developed locally will be the game changer across the industry.
Moving further, Rishabh’s Group of Company – Lumel S.A., has come up with more user-friendly and advanced products like, ND30 (with three variants – Ethernet / Profinet and BACnet) forming a step ahead addition in the multi-function meters category. Measurement of physical parameters, such as temperature and humidity, with data logging facility affirmed using HT20. Moving towards our educational/research sectors, Lumel have also come up with laboratory equipment, such as signal generators, power supplies and reference multimeters of table top type. From the analog expertise, we are introducing advanced devices like CTs with RJ connectors, Nano CTs, Nano Split Core CTs, additional range of CAM switches etc., which will be a paradigm shift from the conventional design philosophy of the so called basic electrical measurement devices.
Rishabh is an Indian multinational company, employing nearly half of their total strength, outside India. If this works out as planned, Rishabh will be happy to announce another acquisition to expand its product portfolio and its market share in other countries.
Industrial transformation through IoT and Industry 4.0Future plans and projections
Rishabh budgets grow between 20–25 percent year on year. This growth comes from existing products in new markets and new customers and new products. We have kept this growth in the last one year. Besides, we will introduce a range of new multi-meters, high-voltage insulation testers and solar inverter. Focus of the company is on innovation, new product developments and international acquisitions. Rishabh will be happy to announce one such acquisition in the coming months.
As said earlier, the company’s future lies in innovation and product basket expansion. We have started Cam Switch, Solar Inverters and resin cast CTs in the last few years. Power quality multi-meters with higher bandwidth and Bluetooth, have been some of the recent innovations in our product basket. With the grid becoming stable, and lot of agriculture load being diverted to solar generation, the grid has to deliver quality power to the consumers. Hence, measurement of power quality and improvement in power quality is a focus area for our company.
Compact CTs which deliver lower VA are required because, electrical measurement instruments require much lower VA burden than conventional products. Hence, focus will be on CTs with transducer, Compact CTs, CTs with 100 million/10 volts, 3-phase CTs to lead the market requirements.
