How was ELECRAMA 2018?
Elecrama 2018 was a good show and we have been participating in it consistently at each edition of Elecrama. This has proved to be a good destination for companies to demonstrate and showcase their innovative products for the industry.
Did you launch any new product or technology at Elecrama?
Amtech Group has diversified into four different business verticals. It has two different companies, i.e. Amtech Power Ltd and Amtech Electronics India Ltd. Amtech Electronics is into motor control, automation, power quality and industrial electronics since last 30 yrs. Its capacity and strength is in manufacturing high power AC Drive. So, this year Amtech Electronics has launched two products, one is NextGen Axpert–Eazy Plus AC Drive in motor control and another is Axpert-i-Sine STATCON and Active Harmonic Filter in power quality and energy conservation vertical.
The NextGen Axpert-Eazy Plus Series AC Drive has the latest 7th generation IGBT device with low-loss and high efficiency, user-friendly with power-packed hardware. It’s a rugged industrial-grade product. We have also launched the Axpert-i-Sine series active static VAR compensator with same configuration. It’s one of the unique products launched by us for power quality. These two products are showcased at Elecrama. What are the unique features of newly launched products? How has been the market in the recent times?
In the last 3-4 years, the global market scenario was really tough. It adversely affected the Indian market as well. But, from last quarter of the year, the exports has been picking up. With positive shift in global market scenario, we are positive of tapping into the pie of the same.
Apart from existing sectors, what are the other key sector company plans to diversify into?
As of now, we see tremendous potential in the existing sector where the company is already serving. We don’t intend to move away from the same. From industrial electronics vertical point of view, we are changing the name of the vertical to Power Electronics Engineering Services. Under this, we will be taking up different projects from automobile, solar, railways, wind and many more segments. We are into wind power sector. We are also planning NextGen solar inverter, which is grid-tied and we will keep working on same alongside newer technologies for energy storage as part of our support to the nation’s alignment on renewable.
What future do you foresee for the company?
Amtech is a young, dynamic company aiming to grow globally. We aim to grow at 20 per cent y-o-y growth with major thrust on NextGen motor control and power quality sector and putting our efforts in the direction in the upcoming time.
