Salzer unveils a whole host of new products

At ELECRAMA 2018, Salzer will introduce host of new products in different segments which will complement its existing range.

Salzer Electronics Ltd made its debut in 1985 with an aim to design, develop, manufacture and supply CAM operated rotary switches, selector switches, wiring ducts, voltmeter switches and allied products. Headquartered in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, the company has a dynamic chain of 5 factories today.

At ELECRAMA 2018, Salzer will introduce host of new products in different segments which will complement its existing range, informs Bellary P.B., General Manager – Business Development, Salzer Electronics. He adds, “It is a proactive response to changing trend of customer towards single window shopping.”

New family of Compact Rotary Switches: SK Series
In line with its history of introducing innovative and trendsetting designs, Salzer will launch this compact product with finger protection, which will help to reduce the space considerably in control panels.

Contactors, OLR, MPCB & MCB
UL marked contactors with DC and AC (wide band coil voltage to sustain voltage fluctuations) will be displayed. This is a typical example of a product with international quality designed to suit Indian conditions. Salzer will display power contactors, mini contactors and control contactors 7A to 105A. Salzer MPCBs are UL marked and rated 32A and 63A. This offers complete type 2 coordination products for motor starting application. Also, C and D type MCBs will be displayed with UL mark (UL 489 and 1077)

Limit switches
Salzer will launch limit- and foot-switches used in control application of process industries. The entire design, manufacturing and testing of these switches is in house ensuring quality at competitive rates.

Sensors
Salzer is introducing multiple types of sensors. Speed, temperature, position and pressure. Target customers will be automobiles, OEMs, and defence etc.

Building Segment
Single- & Three-phase contactor based ACCL (Source Changeover with current limiter)
Salzer ACCL range that will be displayed is from 1A to 63A. This is patented design from Salzer. This product will help to change supply from mains to DG and reverse automatically. Target market will be all homes and flats where DG back up is available, informs Bellary.

MCBs and Distribution Boards (DB)
10kA, MCBs in B, C, D curves with 1, 2, 3 poles and isolators for protection against overload and short circuits at homes will be displayed. Wide range of DB will be displayed (vertical, horizontal, 1 Ph and 3 Ph, upto 8 segments and 12 ways). Salzer being market leader in Selector switches, our DBs with these switches will have edge in the market, claims Bellary.
Special cables for solar, lift and hoist applications

Magnetics segment
3-phase Dry Type transformers upto 1,000 KVA

Salzer has launched custom-built transformers in technical collaboration with Trafomodern of Austria. Also, harmonic filters and drive chokes are launched both in Cu and Al. Major customers being railways, solar panels, drive manufacturers, APFC panels, wind mills etc.
