Could you explain the key differentiators of Insolation Energy’s solar modules compared to other options in the market?

The solar modules of Insolation Energy stand out for their advanced technology and high efficiency. Our current P-Type Mono PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) technology reduces electron recombination losses, enhancing energy conversion and performance in various lighting conditions. Soon, we will introduce N-Type TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology, further improving efficiency and power output. Additionally, our Glass-to-Glass (G2G) modules will offer superior durability, protecting against environmental factors like moisture and mechanical stress, ensuring a longer lifespan and enhanced reliability.

Designed for maximum efficiency, our modules deliver superior power output while optimising space. Anti-reflective coatings enhance light absorption, improving energy conversion. Stringent quality control measures, including automated inspections and high-throughput testing, ensure each module meets global safety and performance standards. Our certifications, including ISO, UL, ALMM, CE, and BIS, further confirm our commitment to quality.

Innovation is key to our manufacturing process, with fully automated lines incorporating robotic systems and smart technologies for enhanced precision and consistency. High-efficiency equipment like laser cutting and automated laminators ensures peak performance and reduces defects. Our Glass-to-Backsheet modules offer robust protection against environmental challenges, and the upcoming Glass-to-Glass modules will provide even greater resistance to stressors.

Insolation Energy Limited (INA Solar) is set to unveil groundbreaking products and technologies at the InterSolar Expo 2025. A key highlight will be the launch of advanced Glass-to-Glass (G2G) solar modules featuring cutting-edge N-Type technology. These high-efficiency modules deliver an impressive 630Wp power output, ensuring superior energy generation and durability. The G2G design enhances protection against environmental factors, extending module lifespan and reliability.

INA Solar plans to showcase next-generation high-efficiency solar panels engineered with advanced materials to maximise energy capture and conversion for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Additionally, the company has plans to introduce innovative, customised solar solutions tailored to diverse energy needs.

Strengthening its renewable portfolio, INA Solar will present next-generation energy storage systems designed to complement solar installations, improving energy reliability and management. What are your goals for expanding Insolation Energy’s presence and leadership in the Indian solar market?

The goals of INA Solar are centred around driving innovation, expansion and enhanced market presence both in India and internationally. We are committed to advancing solar technology by introducing next-generation solar modules. In 2025, INA Solar plans to incorporate bifacial solar panels and solar cells, which promise to offer higher efficiency and lower costs. Additionally, we are moving towards backward integration by entering Solar PV Cell manufacturing, which will help us enhance product quality and production efficiency. Our introduction of N-type Solar Cells manufactured in India will ensure superior performance in the solar modules.

In Rajasthan, INA Solar is ramping its manufacturing capacity from 1 GW to 4 GW in the coming months to meet the increasing demand for high-quality solar modules and 18,000 MT aluminium frame production capacities by 2025. Work on this facility is already being done. Meanwhile, in Madhya Pradesh, the company plans to host a 3 GW solar cell and 4 GW solar module production capacity and a 24,000 MT aluminium frame production facility by 2026. Work on this facility will commence very soon. These state-of-the-art facilities will feature the latest N-Type TOPCon technology, showcasing the firm’s commitment to innovation and industry leadership. This expansion will allow us to serve the growing residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale solar projects across PAN India. On the international front, we are exploring new markets in the USA, Middle East and Africa, where the demand for solar energy is surging. These regions present significant growth opportunities, and INA Solar is positioning itself as a key player in these markets.

Speaking of market presence, our goal is to establish INA Solar as a market leader in all solar segments, including rooftop solar, C&I installations and utility-scale projects. We are committed to expanding our footprint across PAN India while introducing advanced solar products tailored to meet the specific needs of international markets. We aim to strengthen our presence across residential, commercial and industrial sectors and large-scale utility projects by offering high-performance solar modules.

Can you share some insights into the latest innovations in your fully automated SPV module production process?

Our fully automated Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) module production process integrates cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency, precision, and quality. Robotic assembly ensures accuracy in critical stages like cell placement, lamination, and framing, reducing manual errors and boosting production speed. Automated inspection systems with high-resolution cameras and sensors conduct real-time quality assessments, ensuring defect-free modules.

Industry 4.0 integration optimises manufacturing with IOT-enabled smart sensors for real-time data analysis, predictive maintenance and enhanced monitoring. AI-driven process optimisation improves efficiency and ensures consistent quality. High-efficiency equipment, including laser cutting and automated laminators, enhances precision, reduces material waste, and improves module durability.

Quality control is paramount, with high-throughput testing evaluating electrical performance, efficiency, and environmental resistance. A robust traceability system ensures transparency and quick issue resolution. Energy-efficient operations, enabled by advanced energy management systems, lower operational costs and support sustainability through automated material handling and recycling.
