The positive transformation of Indian power sector was long due. Uninterrupted power is now almost a fundamental right to every citizen, than a privilege. The present government has been taking extraordinary steps towards complete electrification of the country. Growth in power sector not only facilitates infrastructure growth, but also, by itself, creates new demands and becomes a growth driver.
