Advait Infratech’s projects are set to increase regional power grid capacity & efficiency with these orders.
Advait Infratech has announced that they have received two orders from the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited to upgrade existing power lines. To optimise existing lines, it is necessary to ensure they can support an increase in voltage without decreasing performance. Increasing the voltage means increasing the work the cable has to do to handle it, and this work translates into heat.
The first order, received on June 11, 2024, involves a project worth ₹ 16.27 crore for upgrading existing 66 kV lines on towers by a high-ampacity conductor (HTLS conductor) at 27.516 RKM on June 11, 2024. The second, secured on June 13, 2024, is worth ₹ 27.87 crore for upgrading existing 66 kV lines on the tower by a high-ampacity conductor (HTLS conductor) at 45.872 RKM on June 13, 2024.“These projects underscore Advait Infratech’s expertise and commitment to supporting India’s infrastructure growth with innovative and sustainable solutions,” said Shalin Sheth, Founder and Managing Director of Advait Infratech. Completing these projects is expected to significantly improve the transmission capacity and efficiency of the regional power grid, aligning with national energy security and sustainability goals.
