Apraava Energy secures 250 MW solar project in Rajasthan

Major Solar Energy Project Secured in Rajasthan through E-Reverse Auction at INR 2.53/kWh Tariff.
Apraava Energy, a prominent integrated energy solutions provider, declared today that it secured a 250 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected solar energy project in Rajasthan from the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC). The project, acquired through the e-reverse auction mechanism at a walk-out tariff of INR 2.53 per kWh, is slated for completion within 24 months. This marks Apraava’s inaugural greenfield solar power project procured through the auction route.

We are optimistic about India’s vision for a sustainable future and will continue to explore similar opportunities in the future.”The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between NHPC and Apraava Energy spans a 25-year period, commencing from the scheduled commissioning date. Under the agreement, Apraava Energy assumes responsibility for the design, construction, and operation of the project throughout the PPA tenure. The company’s current operational portfolio in Renewable Energy (Solar and Wind) totals 1312.6 MW, with projects dispersed across Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Karnataka. Additionally, Apraava has approximately 660 MW of Renewable Energy projects currently under construction.
