Gautam Solar boosts India’s green vision

Solar panel manufacturer has provided 70Gautam Solar MW of highly efficient solar panels for government projects in North India as part of its efforts to transform the nation’s energy landscape. During a period of four months, the states of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh received cutting-edge panels for solar PV systems. The high-efficiency solar panels are ALMM (MNRE, GoI) and BIS-approved ‘Made in India’ DCR modules.
The 545 Wp 10BB Mono Solar Modules from Gautam Solar have unique characteristics like larger M10 cells for higher power generation, multi-busbar technology for lower electrical losses, round ribbon connectors for better light utilisation, bifacial PERC technology for power generation from both sides, non-destructive laser-based cell cutting for higher reliability and fewer chances of microcracks, and half-cut cell technology for better low-light performance.
Gautam Mohanka, Managing Director of Gautam Solar Private Limited, said: “The key relevance of solar power in India is driven by the increasing demand for energy and the country’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and reaching net-zero by 2070. Our solar panels will save between 120 million and 175 million pounds of CO2, i.e., 54569 metric tons to 79372 metric tons annually.”It was also mentioned that solar energy can help the nation meet its energy needs while lowering its reliance on fossil fuels because it is a clean, sustainable source of energy. India intends to increase its capacity for renewable energy to 500 GW by 2030, making renewable energy 50 percent of the country’s energy mix.
