GEDC 2024 addressed the challenges and opportunities associated with the digital revolution in the energy sector with more than 300+ participants.
Global Energy Digitalisation Conclave (GEDC) 2024 united experts worldwide, fostering collaboration and exploring cutting-edge technologies to accelerate the energy sector’s digital transformation. The conclave provided a platform for valuable insights and meaningful discussions on the future of global energy, making each participant feel part of a larger, global community.
Organised by iCONEX and SHESPro, GEDC 2024 addressed the challenges and opportunities associated with the digital revolution in the energy sector. The event witnessed an unprecedented gathering of more than 300+ participants, 50+ Speakers, 15+ Exhibitors, 10+ Sponsors, and 5+ Media Partners. Attendees included Industry Leaders, Policymakers, CEOs, CIOs, CDIOs, CTOs, CISOs, technology experts, and thought leaders who collectively represented a wide spectrum of the global energy ecosystem.
The key topics included the sustainable energy transition through secured digitalisation, aiming for a net-zero future. The CIO round table focussed on creating a comprehensive digital roadmap, a detailed examination of OT cybersecurity within the energy sector, addressing current challenges and future needs, the regulatory framework and digitalisation approach in the energy sector, highlighting the importance of cloudification and generative AI as modern business requirements for new energy business models. The role of emerging digital technologies in the energy sector was explored while emphasising their potential to enhance customer experience through digitalisation, and the opportunities and impacts of AI and ML in the energy sector were thoroughly examined.GEDC 2024 also hosted an exhibition for companies like Aeonx Digital, Aggcon, ANDRITZ, Asset Infinity, Cerebulb, ImageGrafix, INGENX Technology, Plutomen, Redinent Innovation, SAS, Syook, Wise FinServ, and Yokogawa to showcase their innovative solutions for speeding up the digitisation process of the energy sector.
GEDC 2024 was supported by the leading energy companies and technology players, a testament to the industry’s commitment to digital transformation. These included ONGC, IGL, Yokogawa, SAS, Andritz, Ingenx Technology, SAP India, Aspentech, HMEL, Nayara Energy, Cerebulb, Syook, Redinent Innovation and many more. The organisers decided to carry this digitalisation journey forward and expected to come up with the 3rd edition of GEDC during May 2025, reinforcing the industry’s dedication to the cause.
