Godrej Process Equipment bags NPCIL order for pressurised heavy water reactors

The reactors with be manufactured at their new facility in Dahej, Gujarat.
Godrej Process Equipment, the flagship company by Godrej & Boyce has won its single largest order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) of ₹468 Cores. The order is Godrej & Boyce’s first order of Steam Generators for India’s indigenously developed 700 MWe Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) to be set up by NPCIL.
Steam Generators are critical equipment in a Nuclear Power Plant for generating clean and reliable source of Power for baseload requirements. Godrej Process Equipment has been chosen for their engineering competencies, capabilities for producing high precision equipment and expertise in working with exotic metallurgies.
