Gossen Metrawatt unveils METRAVIEW, a newly developed web-based platform solution designed for comprehensive and transparent energy data management. METRAVIEW serves as a universally implementable software platform that facilitates the acquisition, storage, visualisation, and analysis of energy and process data. It ensures reliable access to consumption data and key metrics irrespective of location or device, thus aiding companies in the implementation of software-based energy management in compliance with ISO 50001 standards.

Among its myriad functions, METRAVIEW facilitates the evaluation of measure efficiency within the PDCA cycle, verifies data and measurement concepts’ plausibility, conducts forecasts, and oversees energy data and cost acquisition. It also enables cross-media consumption determination and facilitates cost center attribution.

The platform offers user-specific dashboards, high-quality process images, and robust trend analyses, thereby simplifying the evaluation of energy and process data in an intuitive manner. Users can select and organize graphical elements such as speedometers, bar graphs, totals, or diagrams according to their preferences.

METRAVIEW boasts SCADA functionality, ensuring high-performance data updating, refresh rates, and system visualization tailored to users’ specific designs. An integrated alarm platform, based on definable limit values, triggers automatic alerts via email, phone, or SMS in case of faults or significantly increased energy consumption. Additionally, the platform archives all operating and fault messages for long-term reference, enabling the comprehensive tracing of historical events.

Utilising open standard interfaces based on OPC technology, METRAVIEW facilitates manufacturer-independent communication.
