GII has been actively working towards rural electrification in more than 350 villages

The energy crisis is the concern in the world as demands for energy is increasing day-by-day but to the limited natural resources available on the earth so the coal crisis has been augmented.  Due to the increase in demand for electricity across the India, the purchase price of electricity is becoming more expensive. As per the current scenario, the scarcity of electricity has been observed in the rural areas so to overcome this situation the solar system has been in demand due to its requirement. However, still in some interior rural areas, there is an issue of electricity, clean water & sanitation, lack of infrastructure, etc. Green India Initiative promotes solar energy in the rural India which is the ideal solutions to fill the gap.

Best Socio Enterprise of the year – Solar given by Minister of State MSME Govt. of India, Pratap Chandra Sarangi in the kind presence of Union Minister MEME Govt. if India, Narayan Rane at Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi. Green India Initiative has a mission of lighting up 1000 rural villages through solar energy till 2025 with the help of corporates and NGOs under their CSR initiatives.
