The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between IIT Bombay and Grew Energy sets the stage for a dynamic collaboration to drive technological advancements in the photovoltaic sector through joint initiatives in knowledge management, continuing education programs, and technology development.
Grew Energy Private Limited, a leading solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing company, has announced a strategic partnership with the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay). This collaboration aims to advance innovation and excellence in photovoltaic technology, with a key focus on solar cell and module manufacturing, performance characterisation, and reliability assessments.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between IIT Bombay and Grew Energy sets the stage for a dynamic collaboration to drive technological advancements in the photovoltaic sector through joint initiatives in knowledge management, continuing education programs, and technology development.
Key aspects of this collaboration include joint consultancy and research projects that address critical industry challenges and foster innovation. The collaboration will also support internships, intellectual property licensing, and research initiatives. A collaborative ecosystem will be established, focusing on essential areas such as manufacturing, performance evaluation, reliability testing, and workforce training, all geared towards strengthening India’s renewable energy landscape.
