The 27th edition of the LED Expo will take place from May 9 to 11 in Mumbai. It will showcase 185 exhibiting companies, including 49 new participants and various new product launches. This event will set the stage for the future of the lighting and LED industries, signalling a surge in innovation and advancements.
LED Expo 2024 in Mumbai is a key trade fair for lighting professionals, featuring the latest innovations, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities. International brands like Demak Italy, Rayrun International, Ferrics, and Eton Machines will add a global touch to the show floor.

Commenting on the expo and the government initiatives to thrive the LED industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, Government of India, expressed: “Initiatives like the Unnat Jyoti Affordable LEDs for All (UJALA) Scheme and the LED Street Lighting National Programme (SLNP) have significantly bolstered the adoption of energy-efficient lighting solutions across the nation, leading to widespread cost savings, reduced energy consumption, and environmental benefits.”. Congratulating the LED Expo Mumbai 2024, he further added: “The dedicated efforts of Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India towards promoting indigenisation of LED products and innovative ways to generate awareness and spread the message of energy efficiency are commendable. I hope this expo will serve as an ideal platform for the stakeholders to come together, exchange ideas, showcase advancements, and further contribute to the growth and sustainability of the LED industry.”

Niiv Lites, Neptune Lights India, JN Lighting LLP, Arihant LED Lighting, Optiks Mechatronics, Green Surfer, Tektronics, and Saini Semiconductors are introducing new products in the lighting industry. Niiv Lites is launching outdoor LED lights, including waterproof wall washer lights. Neptune Lights India is launching architecture and interior lighting under the ‘Neptune Signature’ brand. JN Lighting LLP is launching indoor and outdoor lights under the TINGE brand. Arihant LED Lighting is innovating the Sancon LED range. Optiks Mechatronics is launching RGBW/Mono Flexible Wall Washer Lights with 12 percent higher light efficacy than regular products. Green Surfer is launching new products in solar street lights, LED lights, and energy-saving house wires. Tektronics is launching PC wall lights with premium quality and the latest technology. Saini Semiconductors is launching a lithium-ion battery cell for EV applications.Additionally, Ramdev Lights LLP, Ramdev PCB, Creazioni Dec, Light Box, Glocot Silicone, VR Kabel India, Sweta Enterprises, Orion LED-Goldwyn LED, and other brands will introduce new products at the LED Expo Mumbai 2024.
The expo will feature industry experts leading workshops on sustainability in the lighting industry. On 9th May, Women in Lighting will host a seminar on Shining a Light on Sustainable Practices. On 10th May, the Illuminating Engineering Society will conduct sessions on the Fundamentals of Lighting.
According to the IMARC Group, India’s lighting and LED industry is growing at 20.4 percent, with the Indian LED lighting market projected to reach $23.2 billion by 2032.
Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, expressed excitement about the industry’s growth and the upcoming LED Expo Mumbai 2024. He highlighted the industry’s focus on comfort, convenience, cost-effectiveness, energy efficiency, customization, and design aesthetics and noted the increasing demand for energy-efficient solutions.
The trade fair has received support from industry bodies like LACMA, EESL, MeitY, BEST, IBC, TERI, EMA, WIL, ECAM, and IES. The expo will showcase various products, from components to end products, demonstrating the innovation and technology behind lighting products.
