Power Foundation, CPI to boost sustainable power development

To improve sustainable development in the power sector, the Power Foundation and Climate Policy Initiative India Pvt. Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Power Foundation and Climate Policy Initiative India Pvt. Ltd. (CPI) to cooperate in assisting India’s transition to a cleaner energy future. Dr. Sambit Basu, Director (Programs) and Chief Energy Economist on behalf of Power Foundation, and Dhruba Purkayastha, Director, on behalf of Climate Policy Initiative India Pvt. Ltd. signed the MoU at a function in New Delhi in the presence of Sanjiv Nandan Sahai, Director General of Power Foundation.
According to the MoU, the Power Foundation and CPI will collaborate to support India’s energy transition, enhance the capacity of essential stakeholders, and manage transition-related risks. Through this Memorandum of Understanding, the two organisations intend to establish a broad framework for future partnerships and collaborations related to the power sector’s sustainable growth.
