Shapoorji Pallonji Oil & Gas now produces hydrocarbon

Shapoorji Pallonji Oil & Gas Pvt Ltd (SP O&G), India’s leading FPSO specialist, has achieved a significant milestone with the “hook-up” of its FPSO Armada Sterling V at the KG 98/2 block, offshore Kakinada.
The FPSO Armada Sterling V arrived at Cluster 2 of ONGC’s KG 98/2 block on India’s east coast on December 15, 2022, after departing from Singapore’s Sembcorp Marine shipyard.
On December 28, 2022, India’s largest FPSO was safely connected. She is now ready to receive and process hydrocarbons from the field. Despite the challenges of inclement weather, hook-up was completed in one of the shortest lead times.
