Sharika Enterprises completes 220 kV XLPE cable project at Naitwar Mori hydro power plant

SEL achieves successful SITC of crucial EHV cable, bolstering its commitment to power sector excellence.
Sharika Enterprises Ltd. (SEL), a prominent player in the power sector, has announced the successful completion and receipt of a Completion Certificate for the Supply, Installation, Termination, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of a 220 kV XLPE cable (1Cx400 Sq. mm) at the Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Plant (2×30 MW) in Uttar Kashi.
The Naitwar Mori Hydro Electric Project was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 4th March 2024. The EHV Cable is part of an Electro-Mechanical Package for Voith Hydro Pvt Ltd, and the project included meticulous SITC of the cable, complete with all necessary accessories and supporting structures. The total cable laid length is approximately 2 km with both indoor and outdoor termination, which were completed with precision. The SITC work, including the charging of Circuit 1 & 2, was completed by 10th November 2023 and 26th November 2023 respectively, in strict accordance with the contract and relevant documents.
