The company has made significant strides in its business, securing orders for the supply of OPGW to various domestic and international customers. In the power cables segment, it has played a crucial role in bolstering India’s power infrastructure and enhancing disaster preparedness measures. Notably, the company has secured major orders worth INR 250 crores for the supply of Medium Voltage cables under the Government of India’s disaster management scheme, ensuring uninterrupted power supply in disaster-prone areas. Additionally, Sterlite has contributed to industrial modernisation by securing a turnkey project to replace ageing overhead power cable systems. The company has secured multiple orders in the EHV, HV, and MV cables category. Furthermore, its specialised EPC services have led to a significant order from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) to uprate two vital 66kV lines, increasing ampacity through line reconductoring using high-performance conductors.

This initiative marks a significant milestone, marking Sterlite Power’s first HTLS reconductoring project in the western region.
