Strategic partnership to establish EV charging points accelerates sustainable transportation in Ayodhya and beyond.

Tata Power, a leading player in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has partnered with the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) to make Ayodhya EV-ready. The strategic collaboration aims to expedite the adoption of electric vehicles and promote sustainable transportation solutions.

In the presence of Gaurav Dayal, Commissioner of Ayodhya, and Ashwini Pandey, Vice Chairman of the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA), the unveiling of EV charging points took place today at the Collectorate Office MLCP Parking in Ayodhya. Also in attendance from Tata Power were Deepesh Nanda, CEO & MD of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development (EV), and Ramkrishna Singh, Head of Business Operations (EV).

The ceremony’s highlights included the flag-off of four electric vehicles bound for major neighboring cities. This initiative strategically connects Ayodhya with nearby major cities through the establishment of electric vehicle charging points. Positioned along key routes such as Ayodhya to Lucknow via NH27, Ayodhya to Raebarelli via NH330, Ayodhya to Prayagraj via NH330, and Ayodhya to Gorakhpur via NH27, these points are poised to revolutionize travel experiences for both visitors and locals. Furthermore, they aim to encourage pilgrims and tourists visiting the holy city to embrace e-mobility and sustainable transport during their journeys.

Tata Power takes the lead in the electric vehicle charging domain across the state of Uttar Pradesh. Its notable market share throughout the state is underscored by its extensive EZ Charge network, comprising 4137 home chargers, 230 public charging points, and 39 captive chargers.
