First Energy Private Limited (FEPL), a subsidiary of Thermax Limited, has successfully commissioned a wind-solar hybrid captive power plant in Gujarat, India. With an impressive capacity of 45.80 MW, the state-of-the-art facility combines 24.3 MW of wind energy and 21.50 MW of solar energy. The project was executed within the specified timeline and achieved a remarkable safety record with zero accidents. The plant is expected to contribute to a reduction of 1,11,700 tonnes of carbon equivalent emissions annually.
