TPRMG, SIDBI aims to set-up1000 green rural enterprises

TP Renewable Microgrid Limited (TPRMG ), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), have come together to set-up and scale 1,000 green rural enterprises. The MoU signing ceremony was held at SIDBI’s head office in Lucknow. This alliance aims expedite the penetration of green energy from TPRMG’s Microgrid, to remote villages of India, while SIDBI’s financial enablement initiative will empower rural enterprises to grow sustainably. This collaboration is a step towards the commitment demonstrated by both organisations in creating a sustainable future – Tata Power’s “Sustainable Is Attainable” initiative and SIDBI’s “Go Responsive, Enterprise Incentive (GREEN)” initiative.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Manoj Gupta, Chief Executive Officer (TPRMG), and Mr. V Satya Venkata Rao, Deputy Managing Director (SIDBI). The event was graced by Mr. Anoop Pant, GM-SIDBI, Mr. Praveen Kumar, DGM-SIDBI , Mr. Dinesh Prasad, AGM–SIDBI, Mr. Shivendram Maurya, Manager-SIDBI, and Mr. Subodh Dixit, State Head from TPRMG.
This initiative will encourage rural enterprises to go green while using affordable clean power and utilising credit linkages for their businesses.
