Highly efficient Vertex N 700W modules to generate 1.45 billion kWh green energy, reducing carbon emissions significantly.
The installation of 30MW of Trina Solar’s Vertex N 700W modules for an integrated photovoltaic energy storage project in the desert region of northwest China has recently been completed. Once the plant is connected to the grid, it is expected to generate 1.45 billion kWh, save 442,000 tons of standard coal, and reduce 1.206 million tons of CO2 emissions. Additionally, it will cut 232 tons of sulfur dioxide and 260 tons of nitrogen oxides.
Situated in a desert area with intense irradiation and ample solar and heat resources, the plant is an ideal candidate for converting solar energy into green electricity. This project is poised to contribute significantly to the high-quality development of green energy and promote the utilisation of local renewable resources.
Trina Solar’s n-type settings-based solutions are designed to meet users’ requirements across various scenarios. The Vertex N 700W modules, a distinguished member of Trina Solar’s Vertex N product line, have been widely deployed in diverse settings due to their exceptional reliability, particularly in rugged conditions. Having established a solid reputation in high-altitude regions, the Vertex N 700W modules have once again demonstrated their efficacy in expansive desert terrains. These modules, equipped with features such as low-voltage operation, high power output, ultra-low degradation, and high bifaciality, not only deliver increased string power and greater installed system capacity but also yield higher energy output and lower Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE) for utility projects. Moreover, they ensure reliability and enhance customer value. The advancement and maturation of TOPCon technology have significantly accelerated the industrialisation of n-type products. Trina Solar has substantially enhanced its industrialisation capabilities concerning 210mm n-type modules. Following an initiative to standardise 700W+ module dimensions and upgrade the Photovoltaic Open Innovation Ecological Alliance under Trina Solar’s leadership, the company is spearheading the industry towards a higher power era of 700W+ modules.
Aligned with its mission of “Solar energy for all,” Trina Solar is committed to delivering enhanced value to the industry and solar energy users worldwide through its high-quality products. By doing so, it aims to make a more substantial contribution to achieving a net-zero future.
