Waaree Energies provides 68 MW solar modules to Gensol Engineering

Partnership with Gensol Engineering boosts energy output, supports India’s renewable energy goals.
Waaree Energies Limited, India’s largest manufacturer of solar PV modules with a total installed capacity of 12 GW as of June 30, 2023 (Source: CRISIL Report), has successfully delivered 68 MW of its Bi-55 bifacial dual glass framed modules to Gensol Engineering Limited. These modules were delivered in March 2024, and are now being commissioned for the Mahagenco solar PV project.
The deployment of Waaree’s bifacial modules is intended to increase the Mahagenco project’s energy output while contributing to the region’s renewable energy potential. Waaree anticipates that these modules, with their sophisticated technology and design, will provide long-term durability and improved performance, making them perfect for large-scale solar installations.
