Waaree Energies signs 220MW solar module deal with Sprng Energy for Gujarat project

Collaboration underscores commitment to India’s renewable energy growth and domestic manufacturing emphasis.
Waaree Energies Limited (“Waaree”) has announced the signing of a contract with Sprng Energy Private Limited, a Shell group company, for the supply of 220MW of solar PV modules. Under this agreement, Waaree Energies Limited will provide 220MW of AHNAY Series Bi-55 545Wp modules, which will be used for Sprng’s project in Gujarat. Sprng Energy Private Limited is a renewable energy platform established in India in 2017. The company has renewable energy projects spanning the country, with a cumulative contracted capacity exceeding 4.8GWp and an operational portfolio of 2.3GWp.
