  Tata Power welcomes the Union Cabinet’s decision to approve amendments to the national tariff policy for electricity. The amendments which make a strong pitch for the promotion of clean energy and a sustainable future, allow bundling of renewable power with power from certain thermal plants and provide that by March, 2022, 8 per cent of total electricity consumption will be from solar energy.
