REC appoints Dr. P. Shakil Ahammed as Sr. Executive Director

Dr. P. Shakil Ahammed, an IAS Officer of 1995 batch of the Assam and Meghalaya cadre, has joined REC on deputation with effect from 21st Nov as Sr. Executive Director for handling the coordination of implementation of various Government programmes. He has rich and varied experience of handling projects or assignments in various sectors which include education, tourism, skill development, and information and public relations.
