Established in 1963 at Howrah, West Bengal, Cambridge Instruments & Engineering Co. is a pioneer manufacturer of the “CIE” brand of electrical and electronic test and measuring instruments, which have served the country’s needs for the last five decades. CIE Digital Micro Ohm Meter (Model: LR4510A)
LR4510A with maximum 10 Amps DC current injection is useful for the measurements of very low resistance in micro ohms as low as 0.1μΩ. The mains operated model works on proven principle of 4-wire measurements. This model has 4-digit LCD display with resistance range 2000.0μΩ to 20KΩ with a minimum resolution of 0.1μΩ. Auto data hold facility is also provided after 60 sec. continuous measurement in 10A DC range.

Insulation resistance
Accuracy is specified for a period of one year after calibration and at 18O C to 28O C with relative humidity upto 75%. The CIE -5000PI is a smart microprocessor based 5KV Insulation Tester and analyser besides the conventional measurement of Insulation resistance up to 100.0G Ohm. Its advance features allow one to automatically measure both the Polarisation Index ((Polarisation Index = Resistance after 10 minutes/ Resistance after 1 min.) and Dielectric absorption ratio (DAR Value = IR of 60 Sec. / IR of 30 Sec.) thus significantly simplifying the testing of transformers and motors. The Insulation Tester is a mains (230V AC, 50-60Hz) operated Insulation Tester and analyser. The test voltage may be chosen in between 1KV, 2.5KV and 5KV. Due to its measurement principal (actual voltage and current readings) the accuracy of resistance measurement is not affected by any test voltage error. The built in chronometer automatically counts the elapsed time since the start of the measurement and shown over display by which user can easily understand the actual condition of the insulation testing (e.g. in DAR Mode or in PI mode or in IR mode). The measured values all are automatically hold over display until the instrument restart or off. The Test Voltage shown over-display at the time of measurement.
