The MECO Solar Power Meter (Model: 936) is a portable Meter used for measuring Solar Power or Solar Irradiance.
It uses a high-sensitivity silicon photodiode to measure Solar Power (illuminance). It can also detect the solar tilt angle with Orientation.
This instrument is designed to measure Solar Power in the range of 400 to 1100 nanometers. It Measures solar power and Transmission up to 2000 W/m2. The solar power meter has Max, Min, Average, and Data Hold functions to identify locations with Maximum or Minimum Power. The good spectral range, orientation, and angular detection of the meter allow users to conduct the most precise quantitative measurements of Solar Power Radiation.
The solar power meter offers a range of innovative features to enhance solar power measurement and assessment. It enables precise Solar Power Measurement with Orientation and Tilt Angle, allowing optimal positioning of solar panels and water heaters. The Easy Measurement mode assesses the Rate of Daylight Penetration, while the Auto Change for Measuring Range streamlines the process. The Auto Power Off with Disable Function conserves battery life. The meter Instantaneous Display shows average, min, and max values, and it boasts a 20-point memory for data storage. Additionally, it features a Socket for Tripod Mounting, a magnetic mount, a backlight LCD, and a 4-digit triple display, ensuring user-friendly operation.
