Easily generate concise on-site reports with the testo thermography app by wirelessly transmitting data from the testo 605i hygrometer and testo 770 clamp meter to thermal ihygrometermagers.
In the dynamic world of industry and contracting, precision and efficiency are paramount. One of the most revolutionary tools taking these sectors by storm is the smart and networked thermal imager. Be it in contracting or industrial maintenance, the advantages of a thermal imager are abundant and undeniable.
Preventing costly downtimes
By using a thermal imager, one can proactively identify issues before they escalate into expensive system downtimes. This predictive maintenance approach enables addressing potential problems well in advance, ensuring the continuous operation of critical systems and machinery.
Going beyond the pyrometer
Unlike traditional pyrometers that measure individual points, thermal imagers can capture entire surfaces. This allows for a more comprehensive and accurate assessment of temperature distribution, making it an invaluable tool for diagnosing issues, monitoring equipment, and optimising energy usage.
Rapid maintenance and savings
For professionals dealing with high-voltage systems, circuit breakers, or mechanical components, thermal imaging simplifies maintenance procedures. One can identify issues more quickly and accurately, translating to significant time and cost savings. By pinpointing problems efficiently, one can minimise downtime and ensure that operations run smoothly.
Quality assurance and customer satisfaction
Customers and management alike demand quality and reliability. A thermal imager ensures consistent delivery of top-notch work. It allows the testing and showcase of the faultless fitting or functionality of systems, instilling confidence in customers and superiors.
Convincing features for efficient thermographyHigh resolution and image quality: Enhance images up to 320×240 pixels or achieve superior 640×480 pixels with testo super-resolution—ideal image quality and resolution for diverse contracting and industrial applications.
Connection to App and other Testo measuring instruments: Quickly generate concise on-site reports with the testo Thermography App by wirelessly transmitting data from the testo 605i hygrometer and testo 770 clamp meter to thermal imagers. This seamless integration empowers users to detect mould or humidity issues and enhance thermal imagery with real-time current/voltage readings, ideal for solar panel inspections.
Automatic setting of emissivity: The testo ε-Assist function automatically sets the emissivity and temperature of the measurement object, thus facilitating precise thermography.
Objectively comparable images: Testo scale assists in adapting the thermal image scale to the inner and outer temperatures of the measurement object and the difference between them. This ensures comparable and error-free thermal images of the thermal insulation behaviour of a building.
Work smart and networked.
Testo Thermal Imager 872 can be connected to the Testo thermography app. The app, available for iOS and Android, turns the user’s smartphone into a second display and a remote control for the thermal imager and serves to create compact reports quickly on-site, save them online and send them by email. Apart from this, the App offers useful tools for fast analysis on site – for example, inserting additional measurement points, determining the temperature development via a line or adding comments to a thermal image. Also very useful: With the App, you can transmit thermal images live to your smartphone/tablet and use it as a second display.
Connectivity with testo hygrometer and testo clamp meter
Testo 872 thermal imager can be connected wirelessly with the thermos hygrometer testo 605i and the clamp meter testo 770-3. The measurement values of both compact measuring instruments are transmitted to the imagers by Bluetooth. This allows fast and precise identification of where exactly the thermography will be done in any given climatic condition or at what load a switching cabinet is running.
