Socomec strengthens its manufacturing footprint in India

Socomec recently announced the strengthening of its manufacturing capabilities in India by adding the internationally proven switching products line SIRCOVER Manual Transfer Switching Equipment (MTSE), SIRCO Load Break and Isolation Switch (LBS) and SIRCO PV Photovoltaic Switching solutions at its Gurgaon facility.
SIRCOVER and SIRCO will be available for Indian customers as well and eventually will replace the previous Socomec ranges COS and LBS respectively.
Socomec is an innovative specialist, manufacturing and supplying technically advanced products for source changeover, switch-disconnection and photovoltaic applications.
SIRCOVER MTSE are Class PC manually operated transfer switching equipment rated from 63 to 3,200A available in 3-pole and 4-pole with utilisation category of up to AC23A and AC33B. They have been specifically designed for source changeover applications and are one of the few changeover solutions available in the Indian market that are certified and fully compliant with both IS/IEC 60947-3 and IEC 60947-6-1.This offers huge benefits in terms of safety, reliability and performance as IEC 60947-6-1 is the only IEC international standard specifically dedicated to transfer switching equipment (TSE).
